Our Summer Programs
Over the years, we have been very fortunate to have worked closely with many wonderful children and their families. Our passion has been helping children to learn about the world around them through the visual arts. We are particularly interested in encouraging their connection with the natural world, while nourishing their creativity through the use of a wide variety of mediums. We draw from many traditions to create a diverse approach to teaching, in order to nurture the creative, intellectual and emotional growth of the children in our care.
Visual arts, storytelling and environmental education are all integral parts of our summer classes. We feel the educational experience should be as rich and varied as life itself. We enjoy the challenge of finding what approach works best for each child to understand and become excited about learning. There is no greater joy than when student discovers they can express their ideas visually.
